Our Vision

The Geraldton Numeracy Strategy is a means whereby public schools in the Geraldton Network develop and maintain a united focus on numeracy education to ensure that every student has every opportunity for success.The strategy provides a clear and coherent set of expectations for all educators and school communities about what we value and believe in, as well as where we will focus our attention and investment. The Geraldton Numeracy Strategy is grounded in evidence based research and utilises a holistic approach to numeracy improvement, identifying six key areas for action.

The Geraldton Numeracy Strategy has been developed using a federated schools approach with all public schools in the Geraldton Network participating in developing and implementing the strategy to ensure improved numeracy outcomes and achievement for all students.
